Massage therapy website options, compared

Questions
What’s the cheapest massage therapy website?
BodyworkSites has a free five-page plan with banner ads, and AMTA members get it free. ABMP includes a basic Wix site with its $199-a-year membership, and MassageBook includes a booking site with plans from $29 a month. All of them are sites you set up yourself. Happy Websites is $99 or $199 a month, designed and written for you.
Do I own a website from my booking software or association?
Not always. BodyworkSites’ agreement says the site is its property apart from your text and photos, MassageBook’s site sits on a MassageBook web address, and ABMP doesn’t say what happens to the site if you leave. With Happy Websites, the site and the domain are yours.
Should I keep MassageBook or my association membership?
Yes, if they work for you. Booking, SOAP notes, insurance and continuing education aren’t things Happy Websites sells. We build the website and link your Book and gift card buttons to the software you already use.
Does MassageBook charge booking fees?
Only on new clients who find you through its directory, if you accept them: 15% of their first payment. Bookings through your own MassageBook website carry no fee.
