Six questions before you sign with anyone
Whoever you go with. Including us.
- Is the site tied to your childcare software? Ask what happens to it if you switch.
- Is there a share of tuition? Some marketplaces take a cut of the families they send.
- How much notice to leave? Some renew for a full term unless you give 30 days’ notice.
- Who makes the edits? Some sites start from an AI draft you finish yourself.
- Is the price published? Some quote only after a demo.
- Who owns the site if you leave? None of the three we checked say.

Questions
How much does a daycare website cost?
Playground, Wonderschool and MyKidReports all sell websites as add-ons to their childcare software, and none publishes the website price. MyKidReports’ software is free for up to 5 children, then $0.99 per child a month. Happy Websites is $99 or $199 a month, with the price on the page.
Do I keep my website if I change childcare software?
It isn’t clear. None of the three says in its terms who owns the website if you leave, and Playground and MyKidReports say closing an account may destroy its content. With Happy Websites, the site and the domain are yours, whatever software you use.
Is there a contract?
Playground’s paid plans renew automatically, with no prorated refunds. Wonderschool renews automatically, needs 30 days’ written notice to end and charges an early termination fee. MyKidReports is month to month. Happy Websites has no contract.
Should I keep brightwheel or Procare?
Yes, if they run your enrollment and billing well. We don’t sell childcare software. We build the website and link Schedule a tour and Join the waitlist to the software you already use.
