Questions
How much does a campground website cost?
Campspot includes a website in its Growth plan, paid for by a booking fee guests pay. RoverPass charges $34.99 to $99 a month for parks on its reservation software. Big Rig Media starts at $99 a month on a one-year agreement. Happy Websites is $99 or $199 a month with no contract.
Do I keep my website if I change reservation systems?
Usually not. Campspot keeps the work product it develops, and RoverPass keeps the website code and design. Big Rig Media’s sites can’t move to another host and are deleted when services end. With Happy Websites, the site and the domain are yours, whatever reservation system you use.
Do reservation systems charge fees on bookings?
Campspot charges a booking fee on online reservations, paid by guests, and doesn’t publish the amount. RoverPass charges small parks the greater of $99 a month or $3.50 a reservation, which parks can pass on to campers. Happy Websites doesn’t touch your reservations or add fees.
Should I keep Campspot or RoverPass?
Yes, if they run your reservations well. Reservations, payments and live availability aren’t things Happy Websites sells. We build the website and link every Reserve button to the system you already use.
