MassageBook vs Happy Websites

MassageBook’s website comes with its booking software. Ours is designed and written for you, on your own domain.

MassageBook, massage software made by 2Book, Inc. since 2011, includes a ready-made website with online booking on every plan, from $29 to $99 a month. Most plans cost less than Happy Websites and add SOAP notes and payments, but you set the site up yourself, and it sits on a MassageBook web address.

How much does MassageBook cost?

$29 to $99 a month.

If you accept them, a new client who books through its search directory costs 15% of their first payment. Bookings through your MassageBook website carry no fee.

No. Plans renew monthly.

You’re billed each month around the date you subscribed, and you can cancel anytime in your account or by emailing support.

MassageBook FAQ

Is MassageBook legit?

Yes. MassageBook is massage software from 2Book, Inc., started in 2011 by Mark Volkmann, who once ran a massage practice in Atlanta. It’s based in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and has an A+ BBB rating with one complaint in three years, though it isn’t accredited. Its Trustpilot score is 1.9 from 26 reviews, mostly about bugs, price rises and booking.

How much does MassageBook cost?

MassageBook’s plans are $29, $59 and $99 a month, with a 30-day free trial. AMTA members get 25% off and ABMP members 10% off. Card payments cost 2.6% plus 15 cents per in-person charge, and if you accept clients from its directory, each new one costs 15% of their first payment.

Does MassageBook include a website?

Yes. Every plan includes a ready-made website with your service menu, reviews and online booking, which you set up yourself. It sits on a MassageBook web address, and changing its color and header photo needs the Practice or Clinic plan.

Can I cancel MassageBook anytime?

Yes. Cancel in your business account or by emailing support. Paid features last until your next renewal date, then the account moves to a free plan, where online booking stops but your client records, SOAP notes and intake forms stay available.

Is Happy Websites a good MassageBook alternative?

For the website, yes, if you want a site designed and written around your practice, on your own domain, with unlimited edits. MassageBook’s solo plans cost less and include booking, SOAP notes and payments that Happy Websites doesn’t offer, so keep it for those and we’ll link your Book button to it.
