Tourism Tiger, quickly

How much does Tourism Tiger cost?

From $2,800 to build, plus TigerCare.

Essentials starts at $2,800 and Enhanced at $4,000, depending on page count; Premium is quoted. TigerCare’s monthly price isn’t published, and a deposit is due before work starts.

What does TigerCare include?

Hosting, edits and one new page a month.

It makes most small changes within 24 hours, backs up daily and keeps its theme updated. Extra pages cost $75, or $150 if it writes them, in US dollars.

Does Tourism Tiger have a contract?

Not for websites.

It has no minimum-length contract, and leaving TigerCare takes 30 days’ notice. Its marketing services, such as ads and SEO, have a six-month minimum.

Can you get a refund from Tourism Tiger?

No, not for payments already made.

You can cancel a project at any time and won’t pay for stages not yet started; what you’ve paid counts as full payment for the work so far.

Do you own your Tourism Tiger website?

Once it’s paid for and you take a copy.

Its terms keep the site and code as its property, but you can ask for a full copy to move to a new host, at which point it’s yours. Nothing passes until all fees are paid.

Tourism Tiger FAQ

Is Tourism Tiger legit?

Yes. Tourism Tiger is the trade name of Effective Websites LLC, a web design agency founded by Matthew Newton that has worked only with tour and activity operators since 2014. It says it has built more than 300 websites in over 65 countries. Independent reviews are thin: one on Trustpilot, plus the Google reviews it shows on its own site.

How much does a Tourism Tiger website cost?

Tourism Tiger’s Essentials websites start at $2,800 and its Enhanced websites at $4,000, with the price depending on the number of pages. Premium sites are quoted individually. Hosting, edits and support come through its monthly TigerCare plan, whose price isn’t published.

Can I cancel Tourism Tiger anytime?

Yes. Tourism Tiger has no minimum-length contract for websites and asks for 30 days’ notice to leave TigerCare. You can also cancel a build at any stage, but payments already made aren’t refunded, and rejoining TigerCare later comes with a rejoining fee.

Do I own my Tourism Tiger website?

Tourism Tiger says the site is yours. Its terms are more specific: the site and its code stay its property while it hosts them, and you take ownership when you ask for a full copy to move to a new host. No rights pass until everything you owe is paid.

Is Happy Websites a good Tourism Tiger alternative?

If the upfront cost is the sticking point, yes: Happy Websites has no build fee and includes copywriting, hosting and unlimited edits for $99 or $199 a month. Tourism Tiger works only with tour operators and offers bespoke design and multi-language sites. It also runs ads and SEO, which we don’t sell.
