Websites for pet care businesses

Pet parents don’t hand their dog to just anyone. Before they book, they want to see your space, your prices, your vaccine rules and how you look after the animals in your care. Groomers, daycares, boarding kennels, sitters, walkers and trainers: we design, build, host and update that site for one flat monthly price.

What a pet care site needs

Five things a pet parent looks for.

1

Services and prices, by size

“How much for a doodle?” Every groomer has heard it. List your services with a starting price by size or coat, and say what’s included in a full groom, a bath, a daycare day or a 30-minute walk.

A starting price, plus what changes it, answers the question before the phone rings, and the inquiries you do get come from people ready to book.

  • ✓Full grooms, baths and add-ons like nail trims
  • ✓Daycare days, packages and memberships
  • ✓Boarding rates per night, and holiday rates
  • ✓Walk lengths and drop-in visit prices
  • ✓Training classes and private sessions
2

Your vaccine and first-visit rules

Daycares, boarding kennels and groomers usually ask for proof of vaccination, most often rabies, DHPP and Bordetella, and some add canine influenza or an age for spaying and neutering. Many daycares start with a temperament evaluation, and most sitters start with a meet-and-greet.

Put those rules on the site, with how to send records over. New clients arrive ready, and nobody gets turned away at the door.

3

A look inside, and who’s in charge

Pet parents want to see where their dog will spend the day: the play yard, the suites, the grooming tables. Real photos of your space beat stock photos every time.

Tell them who will look after their pet, how you settle a nervous dog, how playgroups are matched by size and temperament, and what happens if a pet gets sick or hurt. Trainers should say how they train. If you’re insured, bonded or certified, say so where they’ll see it.

4

Hours, drop-off times and your service area

Drop-off and pick-up windows, holiday closures and late pick-up fees all belong on the site. Mobile groomers, sitters and walkers should list the neighborhoods or ZIP codes they cover.

A page for each town or neighborhood you serve helps nearby pet parents find you in search, and lets people outside your area know before they ask.

5

Booking that works on a phone

Pet parents book between everything else, usually on a phone. Keep the Book button and your phone number on every page, with tap-to-call and a map.

Already take bookings online through Gingr, MoeGo, Time To Pet or PetExec? We link the button straight to your booking page. If you take requests by phone, text or email, the site sends each one to your inbox with the pet’s name, breed and size.

How Happy Websites builds it

You look after the pets. We look after the website.

We design, build, host and update your website for one flat monthly price. Send us your services, prices, rules and a few photos. We turn them into pages a pet parent can take in at a glance.

$99/mo for a one-page site, $199/mo for five to seven pages.

No setup fee. Hosting, domain and SSL included. Most sites go live in about two weeks. Compare the plans.

Written for pet parents

We write every page for you: warm where it should be, and clear about prices, vaccines and rules.

Works with your booking software

Your Book button goes straight to the booking software you already use. We don’t replace it, or your client and vaccine records.

Unlimited edits

New prices, holiday hours, a new groomer, a full boarding calendar? Email us. Real people reply within one business day.

No contracts

Month to month. Cancel anytime and keep your site, your domain and your content.

Pet care website FAQ

What should a pet care business website include?

Your services with starting prices, your vaccine and first-visit rules, real photos of your space, your hours or service area, and a way to book or request from a phone. Groomers, daycares, sitters and trainers each add their own details, like size pricing or a meet-and-greet.

Can you connect my booking software?

Yes. If you take bookings online, we link the Book buttons straight to your booking software. If you take requests by phone, text or email, the site sends each request to your inbox and shows your phone number on every page.

Do you build sites for mobile groomers and pet sitters?

Yes. For a business that goes to the client, we list the neighborhoods or ZIP codes you cover and can give each area its own page, so the right people find you and everyone else knows before they ask.

How much does a pet care website cost?

The same as any Happy Websites site: $99/mo for a one-page site or $199/mo for five to seven pages. Design, writing, hosting and unlimited edits are included, with no setup fee and no contract.

Do I own my website and domain?

Yes. Your domain, your content, your site. If you ever leave, we hand everything over and help you move.

Ready for a site pet parents trust?

Tell us what you offer, where, and for which pets. Send a few photos of your space if you have them, and we’ll build the site around it.
